Major Reasearch Activities (1996-2007)

It has 13 full time permanent faculty members specializing in different areas of population and development. It has also Faculty Associates who are teaching full time in other Campuses at the BA and MA level in Population Studies. CDPS also hires a few part teacher, mostly females from time to time for capacity building of new graduates from CDPS. Faculty associates from other disciplines are also drawn to encourage interdisciplinary teaching and research. The faculty members are all trained in questionnaire design, survey operation, data collection, data management and report writing. Most of the faculty members are double Masters from TU and abroad. PhD Degree holders have earned their degrees mostly from TU as well as from other internationally reputed Universities of USA, Australia, and UK.
